Founded in 2000, Contemporary Pool Constructions specialises in the design and construction of in-ground swimming pools.
Contemporary Pool Constructions can be engaged to build a pool to an existing design, to manage the total project from first sketches to finished product, or to work as a specialist sub-contractor within a major building project.
Company director Gary Mitchell has been a licensed builder for over 30 years. Gary’s wife and business partner, Gabrielle Brock Mitchell, is a registered architect with 20 years experience in residential architecture.
Gary and Gabrielle’s combined experience allows them to approach the building of a swimming pool with a broader appreciation of the overall project in particular the connection between internal and external spaces. They bring the skills to create a unique design solution that meets the client’s brief and budget.
To be successful, a new pool must do more than complement the architectural style of the house. It must appear as if the space wouldn’t work without it, an integral element.
The idea of a swimming pool as a large expanse of water isolated in the rear corner of the garden is long gone. A swimming pool can be a transforming addition to any sized garden. The site must always be viewed as a whole well beyond the boundaries of the pool fence. All of the elements of house, garden and pool are considered as connected elements.
We pride ourselves on the personalised nature of our service and therefore limit the number of swimming pools we undertake each year. Whilst we work all over Sydney and indeed NSW with projects in Scone and Queanbeyan, our focus is on the northern and eastern suburbs of Sydney.
