Park Avenue Swimming Pool
With limited external space due to a tennis court, the client wanted a lap pool to feel as if it was internal and a part of the living space of the house.
This was achieved by pouring the pool shell directly against the wall of the living room creating a seamless connection separated only by frameless glass fencing. The same tile was then used internally in the living room and also as the pool coping. Lastly by incorporating a large eave overhang from the roof, the pool was given the ‘internal’ feeling.
Ceramic tiles, with a swim lane stripe, reinforce the clean modern lines of house, whilst the diving block adds a twist of fun.
